Whistler Blackcomb hires Jeremy Black new CFO

Whistler Blackcomb Holdings Inc. (TSX: WB) has hired Jeremy M.T. Black, currently VP of Business Development & Corporate Secretary of Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers Incorporated (TSX/NYSE: RBA), as SVP and CFO effective January 14, 2013.

Over the last 10 years, Black has served in various senior management roles at Ritchie Bros., including Director of Finance until 2008. Prior to joining Ritchie Bros., Black was CFO at Blue Zone and prior to that, Black was Director of Financial Development at Intrawest Corp. (July 1999 to December 2000). Black was a Senior Manager in the assurance practice at KPMG LLP.

Black, CA, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia.

Whistler Blackcomb Holdings is 24% owned by KSL Capital Partners.

On December 4, 2012, KSL Capital Partners acquired Intrawest ULC/Fortress Investment Group’s 24% interest in Whistler Blackcomb for $116 million.
