PHD Virtual Technologies Inc., a provider of virtualization backup for VMware and Citrix and monitoring software for physical, virtual and cloud environments, has raised $2 million in Series C funding led by Insight Venture Partners and Citrix (NASDAQ: CTXS) and $2 million in venture debt from Wellington Financial LP.
PHD Virtual intends to use new funds to fuel technology innovation and drive sales, expansion into Europe and product development initiatives.
